This empire dress has original puff sleeves divided in two parts, a V-neckline and slight gathers along the empire waistline which is marked by a knotted ribbon. The skirt is cut on the bias. Suggested fabric: georgette or plaid cotton muslin to create an interplay of fabric cut on the grain and on the bias.
