Fashion patterns
The trend that dips into the 1950’s and 1960’s takes us back to the times of Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy,
true icons of elegance and still the inspiring muses of
fashion.
This fashion is rich in nostalgic charm, but it is also glamorous and metropolitan, dressing the woman with
refined character and style in perfect suits with streamlined jackets or coats which are linear in both shape and
essence. Here we find a play of Chanel-style fabrics in such colors and black/white, bordeaux, brown, orange or
antique pink.
The skirts are knee-length, perhaps opening up fully flared at the bottom, and the blouses are enhanced with
ruffles, embroidery or sequins.
And one cannot do without the accessories of the past: jeweled pins, small bon-ton handbags and shoes with
rounded tips.
Wedding dress pattern
In 1996, to celebrate Marfy's 30 years of operations, a unique, innovative editorial and design initiative was
undertaken: the creation of the first
wedding catalog, containing hundreds of patterns. After the success
of the collection, we repeated it publishing another enhanced edition in 2002.
An up-to-date collection in which elegance, sophistication, romanticism and seduction are mixed together, designed
for brides who want to stand out, in which we offer, as always, our creativity and careful attention to expert
dressmaking in the creation of
paper patterns: so you will be able to free your imagination and make the
dress you want in the fabrics, the lace and accessories which best correspond to your sensibility,
producing a really unique, personalised bridal dress, with evocations of the best couture as a dream come true.
