Excerpt from Marfy 2015/16 Editorial
The new Marfy 2015/16 collection is focussed on top-notch tailoring, architectural lines, precise geometrics and soft ruching to accentuate your femininity and suggest natural elegance.
Volumes are extreme, from mini to ankle-length skirts, from fitted to maxi coats, and governed by vintage tailoring – an inexhaustible source of inspiration. A sense of lightness is expressed by the ‘now you see it, now you don’t’ effect of tulle, organza and lace, to be used in single layer or as an intriguing veil over other fabrics.
The major colours are trendy pinks, coral, orange, yellow, green, lilac and all shades of the blue palette – indigo, Air Force and Prussian – to be mixed with neutrals, burnt shades and the evergreen black and white. Even more femininity is conferred by the floral prints on dresses and blouses, whether bold maxi prints or delicate diminishing cascades. Florals are found in all shapes and sizes, from classic prints to the 3D fabric flowers that are up to the minute and all the rage – unleash your creativity and make every garment you create a spectacular one-off!
